The Brooklyn school I am currently working in had pizza on the lunch menu today so I set up a veggie toppings station for the students to enjoy. We had roasted kale, roasted mushrooms, peppers & onions as well as sprinkles of red pepper flakes. Now doesn’t that loaded pizza look delicious?
Both kale and peppers contain significant amounts of Vitamin C which helps boost our immune system. So important as we move into the chilly seasons and the coughs and cold start!
