My hunger pangs tend to hit at the beginning and middle of each day and I usually snack between breakfast and lunch to keep hangry issues at bay. My go to snacks are nuts, oat bars or some fruit.
However this week I’m trying some protein bars from 22 Days Nutrition. They are the perfect snacking size and with 15 grams of plant based protein as well as 9 grams of fiber in each bar, they are really satisfying. They’re also made with clean and organic vegan, gluten, dairy and soy free ingredients that I recognize and can pronounce (v. important!). Importantly for me they contain low amounts of sugar, 4-5g per bar.
I’ve actually just snaffled the peanut butter chocolate chip bar which was super tasty. However I’m hiding the others from the kids at the back of the cupboards or they’ll be gone in a flash ;).
