I must finish eating this smoothie bowl very very quickly now after taking the photo as its ice-cold deliciousness has started melting pdq (as you can see!). I wanted to start today with a sunny cheerful breakfast & this did not disappoint :).
This smoothie tastes like eating dessert for breakfast which is always a good thing but it’s full of nutrition dense ingredients that provide a clean eating start to the day. It’s blended with 1 cup each of frozen mango, pineapple chunks and cauliflower (you could also do this with frozen banana). I topped it off with kiwi, blueberries and some fresh mango pieces. Absolutely delicious.
Mango is such a great smoothie ingredient which lends a sweet creaminess. It contains Vitamin A for strong eyes and bone health plus a decent amount of folic acid – folate is critical for a healthy pregnancy and baby.
