Yum yum, this was a tip top lunch full of heart healthy goodness in the form of egg and avocado (on gluten-free toast).
Both eggs and avocado contain Omega 3 fatty acids which are great for the heart as they can help reduce cholesterol. These foods are very beneficial for vegetarians or those like me who eat a mainly plant based diet because they’re such a valuable source of Omega 3.
I’m off now to put on the 75 layers required to step foot outside on an NYC winter’s day. Roll on the sun and warmth. Have a great weekend wherever you may be :).
