You’re looking at this title and thinking “well that’s not rocket science is it?”. Yes I agree too but if, like me, you eat a lot of salads, then making them more interesting or adding to the standard repertoires are quite useful things.
When I was in England this Summer I saw this very helpful image produced by a major British supermarket chain that spells it all out very neatly and easily. So basically you’re looking at a greens base with the addition of other colored vegetables, some proteins and some crunchy toppings. Then you alternate a bunch of easy to prepare dressings and you’ve got a meal made in minutes that is satisfying and nutritious.
