Just a little blog post this evening folks, but one which resonates with my ideas about food and nutrition.
These days, the phrase “Plant Based Diet” is expressed regularly in health and nutrition circles, to advocate the benefits of eating a diet mainly consisting of plant derived foods.
It’s important to remember that a Plant Based Diet doesn’t mean a wholly Vegetarian diet (but of course you can switch to that too). It’s more to do with eating greater quantities of plant food and less meat, giving us a myriad of benefits as a result. These include assisting with weight loss, maintaining good health and saving us money too. Cha ching!
